Tidewater Veterans Day Parade & Ceremony
Wednesday, November 11, 2026 — the parade steps off at 9:00 AM from 16th Street and Atlantic Avenue in Virginia Beach, with the formal ceremony at 11:00 AM at the Tidewater Veterans Memorial across from the Convention Center. Free and open to the public, with units from every branch represented across Hampton Roads.

Saturday, November 21, 2026, 7:00 PM — Downtown Norfolk. The region's holiday kickoff hits its 40th year with a “Ruby Radiance” theme: illuminated floats, balloons, marching bands and the downtown skyline lit up for the season. Get there early for a spot along the route.

Friday, November 20, 2026 through Sunday, January 3, 2027 — Virginia Aquarium & Marine Science Center Nature Trail, Virginia Beach. A new walkable light trail replacing the former drive-thru show at the Oceanfront. Timed tickets are on sale, and military families get a discount on Monday nights.

Chesapeake Farmers Market runs Saturdays and Wednesdays through December (City Park, 8:00 AM–12:00 PM).
